This Privacy Policy explains how Happy Hub collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data in compliance with the GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and India's DPDP Act.
📊 What We Collect
1. Google Analytics (optional, consent-based)
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics (G-W5DHN4VER0) to collect anonymised usage data — page views, session duration, and country-level geography. Your IP address is anonymised before it leaves your browser. We do not collect names, emails, or any personally identifiable data via Analytics.
2. Contact Form
If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject, and message in our Supabase database. This data is only accessible to the site owner (Puneet Kala) and is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
3. Account Registration (optional)
If you create an account, we store your email address and display name via Supabase Auth. This enables you to post comments and reactions on articles. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
4. Comments & Reactions
Authenticated users can leave comments and reactions. These are stored in our Supabase database and are publicly visible. Your display name is shown alongside your comment.
5. Hosting Infrastructure
The site is hosted on Vercel (EU region) and uses Supabase (EU region) for the database and authentication. Both providers may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser metadata) as part of their infrastructure operation.
🚫 What We Do Not Collect
- We do not run any mailing list or newsletter
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or third parties
- We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels
- We do not use Google Forms or Google Sheets
🧩 Cookies
We use one strictly necessary cookie (Supabase session cookie for authentication) which does not require consent under GDPR.
We use Google Analytics cookies only with your explicit consent. You can change your cookie preference at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
